Zamfara APC organises induction course for Excos

From Salisu Zakari Maradun, Gusau

The ruling APC in Zamfara has organised an induction course for its recently elected executives in the State.

The induction which was in collaboration with the headquarters of the Party was aimed at refreshing the minds of the new executives on how to go about politicking without violence or intimidation of any nature.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, which was held at the City King Hotel Gusau, capital of the State, the chairman of the party, Alhaji Tukur Umar explained that they decided to organise such a course in order to sensitise the new exco on what is expected of them, especially during the conduct of any election as the case may be.

He stated that as the State is being ruled by the party, and which is also the most popular one, they owe it a duty to remind their followers of the need to be up and doing, especially when it comes to the issue of politics.

According to Umar, who also vowed to leave no stone unturned toward making efforts in uniting the members of the party, he will do everything possible within his reach and the support of the members to make sure that all the difference, even if there is, are buried down and move ahead to the land of success.

The chairman therefore appealed to all to unite and fight for the common goal.

He commended the national body of the party for giving the State the opportunity to organise the course, which he said will not only help the excos, but even the rest of the party members and supporters across the State.
