Master Suyudi Sani who scored 303 aggregriate in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and emerged second best in northern Nigeria, has received a gift of N3 Million and scholarship up to PhD level from Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
UTME is a university entrance examination organized annually by the Joint Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB).
Suyudi who hails from Nassarawa Local Government Area, Kano state, was presented to Governor Ganduje during the weekly Executive Council meeting held at Africa House, Government House, Kano.
Ganduje encouraged the brilliant student and called on other Kano students to borrow a leaf from him.
“You really did a very good thing. Ours is to always assist young people like you achieve their goals and make their dreams reality.
“We are giving the sum of Three Million Naira (N3m) to Suyudi Sani. And the state government will sponsor your education up to PhD level,” Ganduje said.
Suyudi thanked Governor Ganduje and Kano state government for the gesture and assured that he would do his best not to disappoint the state and his family.
