Troops discover Boko Haram/ISWAP bomb making site

The Special Forces Brigade Troops of 402, Nigerian Army have discovered a Boko Haram/ISWAP bomb manufacturing site in Sambisa forest.


Zagazola Makama, a top Security Analyst said the the site has a huge urea fertilizer dump being hidden under a tree in BUK by Boko Haram/ISWAP.


The source said the troops were on clearance Operation under the auspices of Operation Desert Sanity, headed by Lt. Col Ishaya Manga, when they discovered more than 50 bags of 50kg urea fertilizer suspected to be used by the terrorists to plants explosives targeting at troops along different route.


On the 27 February, The Nigerian troops thwarted an attempt by the insurgents to plant an explosive on the Main road in the axis of Mandaragarau.
