CUSTECH VC congratulates new Attah Igala and all graded, upgraded traditional rulers across the state

The Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology, (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku has congratulated the new Attah Igala His Royal Majesty Matthew Opaluwa Oguche and all newly graded and upgraded traditional rulers across Kogi State.

In the congratulatory message by the Public Relations Unit of CUSTECH, said as custodians of the traditional and cultural values of the community, the Vice Chancellor humbly request that they should remain the beacon of light and hope for all the residents of Kogi State.

Speaking from his office at CUSTECH, Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku said, “I congratulate you all on the different traditional stools you now occupy to represent the people in your different domains. While you bask in the glory of the moment, I want you to be the leader to all and at the same time treat all your people fairly in the performance of your duties.”

He added that, “while we rejoice with you individually and collectively, we hope that your exalted positions will usher in and promote peace, stability and rapid sustainable development for which your reigns shall be remembered in the annals of history.”

The new Attah Igala was presented with the Staff of Office on Friday 4th March, 2022 at his Palace in Idah.

The other graded and upgraded traditional rulers were today, Saturday 5th March, 2022 installed and given their Staff of Office at the Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja.

The twin events spanning across two days was officially handled by His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
