Eid-el-Kabir: Gawuna Urges Muslims To Pray For Peace And Unity Of Nigeria

As Muslims all over the State and across the globe celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, Kano State Deputy Governor and the All Prohressive Congress (APC)  gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, has urged Muslims in the country to pray for peace and unity of Nigeria. 

He felicitated with the Muslim Umma, enjoining them to take cognisance of the virtues and significance of the festival and continue to exhibit obedience and total submission to the will of Allah (S.W.T).

In a Statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Hassan Musa Fagge, Gawuna said the ,the Eid-el-Kabir period should be used as a time for sober reflection and prayers towards Allah (S.W.T) for the progress of Kano State.

He also stressed the importance of unity,love,care,tolerance and peaceful-coexistence among the people of the State and the country in general.

The Deputy Governor who is presently in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj exercise also congratulated the Muslim pilgrims performing the Hajj for a successful Arafat and other rites.

He urged the Muslims to continue praying for prevailing peace on the insecurity bedevilling the country.

Gawuna however commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the peace,stability and security enjoyed in the State and also for the milestone achievements recorded in Agriculture,Education,Infrastructure,Health,Youths and Women Empowerment.
