The Ethiopian airlines have consolidated their international flights from Akanu Ibiam International airport Enugu, with Cargo services to over one hundred other countries in the globe.specifically on Wednesday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday of every week.
The Enugu traffic and sales manager of the airline.,Mr Henok Sirak they are poised to solving the pains of international business men from the Eastern part of the country in moving down to Lagos,Abuja,Kaduna or Port Harcourt before they can board international flights. Likewise,airlifting of goods and other products through cargo services.
He revealed that Ethiopian airline adds no extra cost from what is obtainable at the other international airports,thereby saving air travellers who patronize them from Enugu the extra cost of moving down to Lagos or Port Harcourt to board international flight.

In his own speech.,the President of Airfreight association Enugu state Comrade Abugu Chinedu harped that Igbo business can use the advantages of the Cargo freight from Akanu Ibiam international airport Enugu offered by Ethiopian airlines to export agricultural and food crops like vegetables and fresh fruits to America,Western and Eastern countries,thereby empowering our rural farmers, who are the primary producers of such crops.
The road show meant to create awarenee of services rendered by Ethiopian airlines took off from Shoprite premises at Abakaliki road, across to Holy Ghost /Ogbete Main market, Ogui Rd, GSM village, New haven axis of Enugu metropolis to Akanu Ibiam International airport, lasted for more than six hours.
