Jigawa state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, must be congratulated for having, A YOUTHFUL, HOPEFUL AND A VISIONARY Mustapha Sule Lamido as its Gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
On Monday, 26th September, 2022, candidate Mustapha Lamido has turned Yalwawa, Headquarters of the 2023 Campaign Directorate to the Madina of the day to where residents of Dutse trooped to and watched/witnessed what really is meant by the Hausa Slogan, “GOBE TA ALLAH CE” means.
The day was set aside for the official inauguration of the Jigawa State PDP Campaign Council and Campaign Directorate.
After sparing a moment of prayers in respect of people and communities affected by devastating flood and enumerating the role(s) expected of the members of the Campaign Council and the Directorate, Dr Lamido Junior without hesitation preached party supremacy, “I call on the state PDP Working Committee to ensure Party Loyalty and Discipline as well as device means to prevent anyone from being above the party”. Message of party supremacy you may call it.
To what can be described as a Wake-Up call to the members of the Directorate, Dr Mustapha Lamido has this message/call.” For those that have been following our activities so far, can testify that, we have brought innovations into the way politics is done/played in Jigawa State. I want our Campaign Directorate to move along this line”.
He continued,”We must transform our politics to be Decent, Modern, Transparent and Innovative”. Hear him again,”While campaigning, we must be Diplomatic, Tactical and Sensitive to the plight of the suffering people whose lives have been made worse and miserable due to bad governance and gross negligence of our current leaders”.
Proceeding further, the Tactical, Diplomatic and Innovative Mustapha Lamido then reminded who is whoever who in the hall that,”PDP has been opportuned to govern Jigawa State for eight years and Nigeria for sixteen years. We have seen the level of transformation and development that occurred during those years”.(like H.E.was telling JIGAWIANS that, Similar, Double or Triple of such dividend of democracy will be replicated under his administration.
Lastly, THE GOVERNOR IN THE WAITING, LAMiDO JUNIOR dropped the HOPE MESSAGE.”The newly amended electoral act has made it difficult for election rigging, I therefore assure that, if we work hard and win the heart of the people, VICTORY WILL BE OURS INSHAALLAH”.
In their responses , the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Alh. Isa Ahmed Duniya Bahutu and the Director General of the Directorate, Hon. Nasiru Umar Roni assured the Candidate their preparedness to lead by example, work hand in hand so as to achieve the desired objective.
They, therefore, appealed to the members of the bodies to cooperate with one another and pursue their assignment diligently.
In his STYLISH, SKY-BLUE ATTIRE, Dr Mustapha Sule Lamido walked to commission the magnificent office complex and spared some minutes to wave to acknowledge cheers from the waiting crowd of his supporters who stormed the venue to witness the HISTORIC CEREMONY.
