Dr Anioke re elected as NPA President.

Chief Uchenna Cyril Anioke. the Managing Director of Acena Publishers,was at the weekend re elected as President.Nigerian Publishers Association(NPA) for a second tenure.

The election which was voted by the NPA delegates who attended the 2022 annual meethjng of the association held at Rockview(Royale) hotels Ajbuja, on Friday, November 25.

Dr Anioke, who is also the Publisher of Truthfile magazine, a perodic publication, hab served out his first tenure from (2020-2022) was unainomously re elected with his entire executive councij, based on their track record of achievements during their first tenure.

The chairman of 2022 NPA electoral committee,Dr Samuel Okere, Director,Babcock University Press stated,
“As at close of nomination forms,No other person returned any nomination form to the electoral body.The results of the elections were eloquent testimonies to Dr Anioke,s uncommon achievements during his first tenure’.

Others re elected include Alhaji Lukeman Dauda of Evans Publishers PLC as Vice President,Chief Austin Onwubiko,the managing director of African first publishers as deputy vice president(EAST),Dr Abdullaziz of Global publishers as deputy president(NORTH) and M rs Folashade Shinkaiye of Sterling books,Nigeria, as deputy president(WEST).A former president of the association.Mr Gjbadeja Adelapo of Accessible publishers limited was returned as ex officio.among others re elected.

In his acceptance speech, Dr Anioke assured that his administration will consolidate on it,s achievements of his first tenure in taking NPA to enviable heights.
He disclosed the list of al the standing and adhoc committees will be released on or before December and pleaded with members to accept to serve diligently in the various committees,they found themselves.
