Shun Corrupt Practices, CP Mamman Dauda Charges 574 Police Constables Posted To Kano

Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mamman Dauda has charged the newly passed out 574 police constables posted to Kano to shun all forms of corrupt practices and remain good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force.

The police boss who stated this while addressing the police constables at the Bompai police headquarters, also urged them to work in accordance with the policies of community policing.

The AUTHORITY reports that the 574 police constables who all hail from Kano would be redeployed to their various Local Government Areas of origin.

He charged the police officers to be good ambassadors of the Police Force, work according to the provisions of the law, and shun all forms of corruption.

According to him, “in line with the Community Policing Policy of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR, all newly passed out Police Constables posted to Kano State Police Command will be deployed to their various Local Government Areas of origin.”

CP Mamman Dauda, however, congratulated the newly passed out Police Constables for their successful training.

The Kano Police boss also urged them to respect Human Rights, Rule of Law and work according to the provisions of the Police Act 2020.

He further stated that, “Nigeria Police Force is a disciplined organization. Be civil in dealing with members of the public as discipline is the bedrock of the police job.”

He wished them a successful career in good health as they will be posted to serve their various communities.
