Atiku, SGF, Finitir, Binani Commends Process in Adamawa.

Atiku Abubakar was among the early voters at his polling unit 012 of  Ajayah ward in Yola north local government area.

The presidential candidate of the peoples democratic party,Atiku Abubakar arrived the unit at 9:00am, he was accredited and he cast his vote.

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, Atiku Abubakar commended the process, though l observed a little challenge but it’s a good process”

He also commended the redesigned currency ” the idea is good and I hope that they will soon find a solution to the non availability of the notes to ease the suffering of the common man.

Similarly, the Secretary to government of federation, Mr. Boss Mustaphar was at his polling unit 022 Gwadabawa ward at about 12:30pm, he commended the process and said ” I hope the entire process will remain free and fair.

In far away Krichiga, the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed satisfaction with the newly introduced Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) Machine by the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Finitir stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after he casted his vote at the presidential and National Assembly elections at Government Day Secondary School kirchinga in Madagali local government area of the State.

He noted that the BVAS has made the process of accreditation and voting easier without much delay unlike before.

In Yola south, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive congress, Aishatu Ahamed Binani also commended the process stressing that INEC has really improved.

Binani stated this shortly after casting her vote Mbamboi ward, unit 004.

Meanwhile, reports from all the wards and unit visited INEC officials and Security personnel were seen carrying out their duties while voters turned out in their numbers as early as 8am at the polling unit and that voting has started as scheduled.

As at the time of filing this report there was no any problem ranging from malfunction of INEC electronic machine or shortage of sensitive and non sensitive materials in the unit .
