Ganduje rewards hardworking staff in Environment Ministry 

*Tells  residents to always keep their environment clean

From Maduabuchi Nmeribeh, Kano

The Kano State Governor,  Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has urged Kano residents to continue keeping their envir9nments clean, even as he plans taking  a bow as the number one citizen of the state. 

He commended best street sweeper, best tricycle rider, best supervisor and best PSP in the month of April, 2023, in the Ministry of Environment. 

A Statement by the Director Public Enlightenment, Ismail Garba Gwammaja, stated that: “While  presenting the award and other incentives during the function held today at the conference hall of the ministry.

” The Commissioner for Environment Dr Kabiru Ibrahim Getso charged the beneficiaries to maintain the shinning example by putting More effort in their assigned responsibility so that they get more rewards in the next coming month, he stressed.

“The Commissioner disclosed this during a monthly sanitation exercise meeting for stakeholders, he assured the ministry readiness to continue to identify the hard working staff to be recognized on monthly basis.

” Those honoured for the month of April are the best street Sweeper Abdulaziz Dauda, best tricycle rider Kabiru Idris, best street supervisor sulaiman Idris and best Private Sector Partnership (PSP) Attaqawa Global Concept Nig.LTD.

” Items presented to the awardees include commendation letter’s, Shadda brocade as well as Cash incentive.

” Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the representative of chairman Attaqawa Global Concept Alh. Aminu Ahmed expressed deep appreciation  to the government of Kano state and environment ministry in particular for finding them worthy to be recognized is indeed very glading and exciting, and pledged to continue to do More so that next month they would be recognized again.
