November 11: Imo Douglas House is occupied, Anene reminds other governorship contenders

From Everest Ezihe, Owerri

Considering the giant strides by Senator Hope Uzodimma of Imo State’s Shared Prosperity and 3 R administrative mantra and coupled with the Governor’s popularity, Princess Calista Anene has advised the candidates of other political parties for this November 11th gubernatorial election in the state to save their resources and health by  jettisoning their ambitions.

Anene who insisted that the essence of good and hard work is more works told the governorship candidates that their best option is to start preparing ahead of time for 2027 election by marketing their mission and vision  as well as why they think they  are the best to succeed  the Governor after his 8 years.

The Political Amazon gave this advise in a press statement issued on her behalf by her Media Aide, Mr. John Okoro on Sunday.

According to her, the future governorship hopefuls should be able to,  “explain what it is about  Imo State and her citizens that caught their attention and summarized their individual vision, mission, and what they will do differently and how best they can help move the state to greater heights come 2027”.

Anene went on to observe that there is nothing wrong for the candidates to have declared their interest now because they are offering the people an opportunity to keep their eyes on them from now till 2027.

She reiterated that Governor Uzodimma has done creditably well by restoring trust and confidence in governance among the populace and that any body contesting with him for the second tenure is surely going to lose his or her hard earned deposits
