China-U.S. economic working group holds first meeting

The China-U.S. economic working group held its first meeting via video link on Tuesday, according to China’s Ministry of Finance.

China and the U.S. had in-depth, candid and constructive communication on issues such as the macroeconomic situation and policies of the two countries as well as the world, bilateral economic relations, and cooperation in responding to global challenges, the ministry said in a statement.
