BREAKING: Kaduna partners Zipline to launch Nigeria’s biggest healthcare distribution centre

….As Pfizer commits $1m for healthcare commodities

In a bid to deliver quality, timely and affordable healthcare services, Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani has met with the top management team of Zipline to launch the biggest health commodities distribution centre in the country, tagged KD2.

This is even as the Governor also disclosed that Pfizer is committing one million dollars ($1million) in Kaduna health sector for distribution of health commodities especially vaccine and blood.

Governor Sani said the KD2 project by Zipline is in collaboration with the Kaduna State Government.

The team was led by its President and co-founder, Keller Rinaudo Cliffton.

“Discussions at the meeting centered on forging a long term partnership that leverages on investment from development partners, one which will complement the state’s investments in primary health care.

“Already, Pfizer is committing $1million into the Kaduna health sector to help in the distribution of health commodities, especially vaccines and blood.

“Zipline has been delivering on-demand medical commodities via drones where needed in due time, saving lives, reducing cost of inventory and serving health facilities across Kaduna State,” the governor said.
