Ogbor Uvuru which is one of the rural communities in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State has suddenly turned out to be a satellite commercial cum tourists center, due to harvest of commercial projects just established in the area by Chief Success Akagburuonye of Hope Rising for Imolites.
These multi billion Naira investments include industries, hotel, bank, wonder on earth Assemblies of God Noah’s Ark Worship Center, shopping plaza and paradise on earth ancestral home.
Ironically, these mega business outfits are not clustered but scattered in all the nooks and crannies of the ancient community, that’s barely 30 minutes respectively drive to Owerri, the capital of Eastern Heartland and Aba, the pride commercial nerve centre of South East and South South geographical parts of Nigeria, and just 5 minutes to Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport.
It was like an excess Christmas bonanza last Saturday barely 48 hours to Christmas to the good people of Ogbor Uvuru ancient community that Akagburuonye popularly known with a Chieftaincy title as Akaraugo Mbaise and an illustrious son of the satellite but under developed community, took the entire community and its environ by surprised with numerous personalities from all works of life storming the quite but serene community with exotic cars and sirens.
These very important personalities were drawn from the religious bodies especially of the Assemblies of God Church, where Akagburuonye is an ardent family member, political class in which the investors is unapologetically deeply involved, captains of industries and business moguls in which Akaraugo by instincts of hard work, earning peoples trust and His abundant grace, he is humbly among the first eleven squad in the State if not Nigeria at large.
It was all day wholesome programme that started with thanks giving and dedication service at Assemblies of God Church, Ogbor Uvuru wholely built years back, rehabilitated and reconstructed by the Pillar of Philanthropy in Nigeria, according to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Imo State council and officiated by the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, Rev Abel Amadi, PhD with many senior Pastors of the pentecostal church in attendance.
A veteran broadcaster and Journalist, Elder Onyebuchi Onyeikegbulem, moderated efficiently and effectively.
In his sermon Rev. Abel Amadi expressed gratitude to God for the celebration of good things noting God as an Ambassador of goodness.
Amadi informed that each time Akagburuonye gives testimonies of his 19 years undeserved ordeals with Federal Government over title ownership of his choice landed properties in Abuja that his spirit is being renewed in understanding things of God.
He described Akagburuonye’s miraculous victories in all the trumped up charges against him by the agents of Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as the triumph of light over darkness and enjoined the congregation to pray for God’s mercy upon Nigeria and her leaders.
Taking his sermon from the biblical books of Psalms chapter 1 vs 1-3 and 1Chronicle 29 vs 5, he advised Christians especially Igbos to be mindful of Pull Him Down syndrome because God’s goodness and mercy is shown to whom He chooses and prayed God for His infinite mercy and grace upon Akagburuonye and members of his family.
The Man of God prophesied that all those that unjustly conspired against Barr. Success Obioma Akagburuonye, just to humiliate and pull him down, that Omnipotent God of Justice will reward them according and Akagburuonye will continue to be their head, insisting that the divine law of retributive justice is real.
He pointed out that, the essence of Akagburuonye investing billions to develop his rural community is for over all benefits of members of the community and its environ, enjoined the community on the need to respect and appreciate him.
Amadi however, thanked God for the ordeals Akagburuonye passed through saying it’s God’s plan to fortify him spiritually and physically for life greater battles ahead and to open his eyes and mind in understanding human beings and their activities better.
According to the revered Man of God, ” I thank God for the ordeals, which I see as God’s plan for his prosperity ahead. I thank God his prosperity is a product of grace from God Almighty. How many Nigerians can be bold enough and publicly say that their wealth comes from God. One thing is certain, God’s prosperity cause no pains nor add any sorrow ” he assured.
Earlier, Akagburuonye recalled his early life saying he was born in the rural community and his christian life started with the in which his visitors are worshipping with him and the mother was a frontline early morning town crier preacher.
He noted that despite her mother’s spiritual growth in the church that he was stubborn and a Christian without repentance and the family lived in penury of poverty, to an extent the mother tied one wrapper for more than a year.
Akaraugo lamented that his family was a mockery of poverty while thanking God for His grace of good health and prosperity.
Akagburuonye was emphatic in saying that it pays to serve God in truth and spirit and that he is a living testimony that it’s a big honour to be a member of Assemblies of God Church.
The investor who boldly said that he is equally proud that he can give good account of himself and wealth started crying as he narrated his unjust ordeals with the Federal Government in which his title property documents were sized for about 19 years and he was detained for over 2 years.
He thanked God for His interventions and described Him as the hewer of tough wood just as he advised the congregation that the most important thing to earn in life is trust.
He expressed gratitude that God raised men who had implicit trust and confidence in him and he has no regrets trusting people even though most of them betrays the trust.
The investment programme started with the dedication of the multi Million Naira church compound ultra modern landscaping and screeding to the billion Naira foundation laying of the maiden Noah’s Ark shaped new church building done by the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God.
The congregation moved down to the plaza complex, Akaraugo Micro Finance bank ultra modern office complex then to Peace Be Still Hotel and Suites which was unveiled by Hon. Declan Emelumba, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy who ably represented Governor Hope Uzodimma.
It was at the factory site that people reinvigorated their praises to God because the factory is about 60% completed and ready to produce choice wine, plastic tank and chairs as well as water proof among other essential products. It was at the foundation laying ceremony of over 1.5 acres of land he acquired through outright purchase from the owners in 2001 that Rev. Abel Amadi said things of gold must be given to people who cherished gold. The supervising Engineer said he has been paid to build comfort on earth edifices.
The day long commissioning and foundation laying ceremonies ended with entertainment galore at the architectural master piece,Hope Rising State Secretariat Complex, Ogbor Uvuru.
