The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has announced that the church may return to Mgbidi, Imo State for its annual international Crusade “What God Has Determined Shall Be Done.”
Pastor Muoka made the disclosure on the first day of the four-day annual program titled ‘Mgbidi 2024: Lagos Experience’ which is holding at the Revival Ground of the International Headquarters of the Mega church at Ijesha, Lagos, Nigeria.
With this latest arrangement, the programme would be moving back to Mgbidi three years after it was shifted to Lagos State for undisclosed reasons.
The event which commenced on Thursday, January 4, 2024 would come to a close on Sunday, January 7.
Pastor Lazarus expressed hope that the people would have a lot to benefit if the programme is returned to Mgbidi, adding that the worshipers feel free at Mgbidi “At Mgbidi you have a lot of Liberty. Thank God you are here and the God almighty shall surely bless you.”
He added that a lot of battle is going on in the planet earth and there is need for Christians to arm themselves with armour of salvation, faith, righteousness, and be prayerful. “Arm yourself with all these armour to achieve the purpose of God in your life. Every word, prophecy, in this programme must be fulfilled.”
Pastor Muoka also asserted that people fight the church because they noticed that the church carries a lot of anointing and power and that there are a lot of good things in The Chosen. He said “They fight us because there is something here. Chosen is 21 years and so they try to throw confusion because the power of God is here.”
The man of God in his sermon read from the book of Isaiah 53:1 and spoke on the theme “What God Has Determined Shall Be Done” Part One, with a sub-theme, the Heavenly Report. He said “Today marks the beginning of the four-day programme, What God Has Determined Shall Be Done; every word that proceeded from this altar shall be accomplished.” He assured the congregants that whatever God said should be considered done, because according to the scripture Heaven and earth shall pass away, but no an iota of the word of God. He said the word of God is irrevocable.
PastorMuoka urged his listeners to seek the knowledge of God, adding “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free; if you want to be free, prayer is not enough, you need the knowledge of the word of God, you must know the truth about the word of God. If you know the word you shall be strong and do exploits, you need to hear it and apply it for you to succeed, if you don’t know it, you will find things difficult. When the word is visible in you it becomes difficult for sin to enter into you.
“As we continue on this programme you must listen, as long as God has spoken it, it will surely come to pass. You must be acquainted with the knowledge of the word of God. None that attended this programme shall go home empty handed,” Pastor Muoka said.
He also instructed those at the crusade to arm themselves with biro and jotter and listen attentively to messages from the pulpit throughout the four day crusade; adding that the words are treasures, and once they move on the basis of the promises of God they would succeed.
Of course the power of God literally came down on the first day of the crusade as many testified to the miracles, deliverance, healing and miracles they received through the power of the God of The Chosen, this indeed was a signification of what to expect at the four-day crusade. A sister testified how her husband’s job at LNG stopped but was restored by God of the Chosen, even as she also got a job at the same LNG; Sister Amabike testified how she was healed of stroke and her family saved from terrible accident; sister Elizabeth Johnson had a terrible accident but an angel appeared and saved her; Brother Dibia Johnson, from Delta State joined the Chosen in 2011. He said his one and half years partial stroke was rolled away; sister Eunice gained scholarship in Canada university and her problem of education was solved through the God of the Chosen.
Brother Sanda Azie said God of the chosen made his four sons graduates and two of them Masters; and abnormal growth in his wife also disappeared; Sister Chikodi Favour Agubata, one year shortage of blood rolled away after vomiting a stone. All these took place in faraway Togo as she watched a Chosen programme via the cable; and a Sister from Kafanchan, Kaduna State and her family were saved from herdsmen attack and his kidnapped son saved; among other miracles that left many dumbfounded.
Instant miracles at the crusade include a 22 years deaf and dumb that spoke and heard, eight months swollen stomach deflated at the instance of pastor’s command, a leg poison rolled away, 11 years broken bone as a result of accident healed and 10 years chronic waist pain sent packing, among others.
