The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike has declared total war against kidnappers and bandits in the territory.
He said his administration will make necessary provisions for security agencies to rout the criminals.
The minister stated that he will give back up to the military, police and other sensitive bodies to make Abuja hotter for kidnappers.
Wike disclosed this during a town hall meeting with community and religious leaders in Bwari Area Council on Wednesday.
He said president Bola Tinubu has directed him to take steps that will end activities of the bandits.
According to him, the kidnapping in Bwari was a concern to the government, which if not check will escalate to the capital city.
The minister called on all stakeholders to support security Agencies with information to win the war.
