Eid-El-Fitr: Dr Aliyu felicitates Muslims, preaches unity

The Zinariyan of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Aliyu Tijjani has enjoined Muslim faithful across Nigeria to embrace the spirit of unity, solidarity and love for one another.

Dr Aliyu made this known in a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, in celebration of this year’s Eid.

She said, “As Eid el Fitr dawns upon our beautiful land, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to fellow Kogites in particular, and all Nigerians in general. This auspicious occasion marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

“Eid is a time for unity, compassion, and generosity. Let us come together, regardless of our differences, to embrace the spirit of togetherness and solidarity,” she said.

She called on all Muslims to show empathy and charity to the needy, while also praying for a prosperous nation.

The Kogi Princess said, “As we rejoice in the festivities of Eid, let us also remember those who are less fortunate or struggling during these times. Let our celebrations be a reminder of the importance of empathy and charity, as we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

“On this joyous occasion, I pray for continued peace, prosperity, and harmony in our dear country.”
