Nigeria@64: APC chairmanship aspirant urges unity, support to Tinubu

As Nigeria celebrates its 64 years of independence, the Anambra state All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship aspirant, Chief Ikechukwu C. Anonye has congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 64th Independence anniversary.

In his congratulatory message contained in a statement, he urged citizens to unite and support President Tinubu’s vision for a new Nigeria.

He said that President Tinubu’s administration has been working tirelessly to implement transformative policies and reforms aimed at correcting past mistakes and repositioning Nigeria as an economic superpower.
The statement in part reads:

” Some of these initiatives include granting autonomy to local governments, ensuring macroeconomic stability, reforming the tax system and prioritizing the diversification and expansion of government revenues.

“The President has also launched a presidential initiative to transiting Nigeria from fossil fuels to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), aimed at reducing transportation costs for Nigerians by up to 60% and creating jobs.

To commemorate the 64th Independence anniversary, the federal government has planned a series of activities, including a world press conference, Juma’at and Church services, and a presidential broadcast.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, emphasized the collective responsibility of Nigerians to reflect on the country’s journey and look forward to a brighter future.

“I urge Nigerian’s to shun corruption and corrupt practices,wish and pray for a better country”, he submitted.
