Former minority whip of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Mike Ukoha has expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu as the board chairman of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
Ukoha also commended the President for the appointments of former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajuruka and the former deputy minority leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Toby Okechukwu as executive directors of finance and projects respectively.
In his congratulatory message, Ukoha said “Thank you, Mr. President for making the right choices in these worthy sons of Igbo land and Nigeria as a whole. Congratulations to you, my dear brothers, on your wonderful appointments. No doubt, your appointments are well-deserved, considering your immense wealth of experience over the years. May God grant you the strength and wisdom to discharge your duties to the betterment of our dear country.”
Similarly, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and public affairs commentator, Comrade Edwin Uhara also in his congratulatory message commended President Tinubu for the appointments.
He said: “Kindly permit me to congratulate you on your appointments. There is no doubt that you will bring your rich experiences to bear in your new assignment.”
On his part, the Convener, Club 17 Peace Initiative, Chief George Nnanna Kalu in his message to Ohajuruka said “Congratulations on your appointment as Executive Director Finance of the South East Development Commission by HE Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
