Green Schools Project coordinator welcome increased budgetary allocation for education sector

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Green Schools International Foundation and National Project Coordinator of the National Green Schools Project (NGSP), Unyime Robinson, has commended the Federal Government of Nigeria, under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, for the significant increase in budgetary allocation to the education sector in the proposed 2025 national budget presented to the National Assembly.

This is disclosed in a press release on Monday.

The Coordinator who signed the press release said the historic budgetary emphasis on education underscores the administration’s commitment to tackling critical challenges within the sector and laying the foundation for sustainable development.

“The allocation promises to provide transformative opportunities for millions of Nigerian children, ensuring access to quality education and better learning outcomes.

“Education is the cornerstone of national development, and this substantial allocation is a clear demonstration of the government’s recognition of its pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and reducing inequality.

“We commend this proactive step and urge the National Assembly to expedite its passage into law. Effective implementation of this budget will ensure that every Nigerian child, regardless of socioeconomic background, has access to quality education.”
