In her yuletide message, Mrs. Ododo emphasized that the season symbolizes joy, love, and peace, urging Kogites to uphold these virtues beyond the festive period.

A statement released by her media office on Wednesday quoted her saying, “As we celebrate this joyous season of Christmas and New Year, I wish you love, peace, and happiness in your homes and families and may this festive season continue to boost peace and happiness beyond the celebration.”

Reflecting on the achievements of the past year, Hajia Ododo expressed gratitude for strides made in empowering women, girls, and vulnerable individuals in the community. She also expressed hope for a more prosperous 2025 for both the nation and Kogi State.

“As we look forward to the New Year, I pray that it brings increased opportunities for growth, development, and prosperity to our state,” she added.

The First Lady also called for unity among residents of the state’s three senatorial districts, stressing the importance of cooperation across all sectors to maximize the benefits of good governance.

“This administration, led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, will continue to prioritize the welfare of Kogites by providing quality healthcare, education, improved infrastructure, and expanded agricultural initiatives across the value chain to grow the economy and create more wealth,” Mrs. Ododo affirmed.
