The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church on Thursday, December 26, 2024, marked the 22nd Anniversary of the church with Thanksgiving as the General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka returned all the glory the God.
The event which was held at the Revival Arena of the international Headquarters of the church at Ijesha attracted national and international members and non-members. The anniversary was significantly celebrated with melodious songs, dancing, even as various branches of the church, individuals, organisations and departments and ministries came out to thank God of the Chosen with quality presents for God’s wonderful care for his people.
The church established in 2002 has the key mandate of winning 10 billion souls into the kingdom of God before the second coming of the lord Jesus Christ and from every indication, the Lords Chosen is moving like a sharp razor tearing the kingdom of darkness and wing souls to Christ.
Pastor Muoka while returning all the glory of the successes of the church to God almighty said if not God the enemy would have swallowed the church up. “If it has not been our Lord who has been on our side the enemy would have swallowed us up, but thank God, God has given us victory on every side.”
He added that a lot has happened to the church but God has given it victory. “By his grace we have remained focused, the success, the miracles, deliverances, and healings are indications that there is the finger of God in the Lords Chosen ministry.”
He asserted that the wonderful things God has done for the church calls for remembrance because since the inception of the church, God has done wonders for the church.
Pastor Muoka revealed that the birth of the Lord’s Chosen Church was prophesied in the book of Micah Chapter 4 verse 1. He read, “But in the last days, it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.”
He added that today The Lord’s Chosen church is in every nook and cranny of the world, and there is no part of the world where there is no Lord’s Chosen Church, “And when you say ‘I am a chosen things begin to happen.’
In his sermon he called God dependable God. “He is dependable God, the God we serve has never disappointed us. He has done wonders for us, he is a dependable God, incomparable God, miracle working God, the almighty God, he is our master, he is our creator, God mightier than all, the all sufficient God, the great provider, what he said he would bring to pass, the unchangeable God.”
Pastor Muoka recounted some of the challenges the church faced especially at its early beginning. The first challenge was how some residents of Ilasamaja where the church started, many of the residents in the neighborhood poured water on members, many broke bottles and threw them at members of The Chosen. He said today, many of the people that perpetrated the act are tenants to The Lord’s Chosen Church as they have sold their buildings to the church.
The second challenge was when two ladies by name Juliet and Linda cooked up stories against the church to rubbish it, but God of the Chosen showed up and fought the battle for the church and made them to triumph over the enemies.
He urged his congregation to do the will of God at all times and reject sin. “Every unrighteousness is sin, unforgiveness is sin, bearing grudges is sin, backbiting, keeping malice, fornication, lesbianism, homosexuality, armed robbery, kidnapping, if you are a man dressing like a woman, putting on earing and plaiting your head, repent; women wearing men’s dresses, repent, you are putting extra nails, wearing attachment, drop those things, repent and confess your sins and proclaim Jesus as your lord and savior.”
He spoke further, “Alcohol is sin, whether it is 10%, 5% or 1%, don’t take it at all, and if you are working where alcohol is produced, resign, God will give you another job. You left your husband and married another man or you are a second wife, park your load and go, you have no husband, you are a thief, a husband snatcher. The same as men who sent away their first wife, bring them back and send the others away, because the bible says that it is only death that can do them part.” He reminded the church that a sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a sinner.
The Thanksgiving ceremony was not without astonishing miracles that left the congregants dumbfounded and speechless, the dumb spoke, the deaf heard, the cripple walk and the blind saw.
Sister Obasa testified how God of The Chosen rolled away kidney problem for her, while another sister was rescued from one chance.
A brother testified how Quit notice was changed as angel of Pastor Muoka gave him money in dream and he became rich therefrom.
Sunshine Okonkwo from Kumasi, Ghana thanked God for journey mercy from Kumasi to Lagos. He also testified how God granted him baby boy after four girls and after encountering Pastor Muoka.
Sister Nneka Charles used her children’s school fees to pay tithe and since then God of the Chosen opened the brain of the children and today, they are all in the best universities, reading best courses.
Some of the instant miracles that took place immediately the Pastor lazarus mounted the altar include those that came to the church in wheel chairs climbed out and walked, those that held clutches, walking sticks or where assisted by their relatives walked; kidney and other organ related issues were rolled out according to the testimonies.
