Lack of access to public funds, main grudge of coalition – APC G3

The APC Grassroots Governance Group APC G3 on Sunday urged Nigerians not to be swayed by recent clean posture of some opposition figures, describing them as self-centred people who never cared about Nigerians when they held public office.

The Group in a press release signed by the National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema said Nigerians cannot be deceived by those who had opportunities but chose to magnify their self interest above the citizens.

According to the Group “Most of those running up and down have been in office and did not better the lives of their people

“We are not surprised by recent revelations of how the wife of a former governor was collecting N4billion from a government office. The former governor is now running up and down criticizing the current administration.

“Another of the promoter of coalition vowed to tackle corruption, when Nigerians know how he handled the privatisation process when he was in office.

“The people of Benue South will also tell you that they never benefitted from their son who was Senate President. He is now saying he will do this and that. He was in office for almost 40 years. Until recently roads to Benue State were unmotorable.

“Another member of the coalition was Minister of Public Holidays, as discerning Nigerians call him.

“Another of them was managing the International Conference Centre before the rehabilitation and was remitting only N50 million to the FCT Administration annually.

“Their grudge is lack of access to public funds.

APC G3 said President Tinubu made giant strides in 2 years and need to be supported if he is going for a second term.

“Why has ASUU not gone on strike? When last did we hear of petrol scarcity?

“The achievements of President Tinubu and his team within 2 years is massive and very soon they will begin to manifest,” APC G3 added.
