The founder of the Peace Ambassador Agency, Ambassador Dr Kingsley Amafibe, has been inducted into the International Royal Diplomatic Club of the United Nations (IRDCUN), a recognition that further cements his reputation as one of Africa’s most visible voices for peace.
The Delta-born peace advocate, who recently marked his birthday, was also entrusted with the Nigerian chapter of the prestigious diplomatic body. The honour adds to his growing list of international affiliations, which already include the Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Africa Global Health.
In a membership letter signed by IRDCUN Protocol Director, Mustapha Idowu, Amafibe was confirmed as entitled to “all the rights and privileges” of the UN-affiliated organisation. Alongside the letter, he received the club’s official insignia, including an identity card, customised number plate, and other symbols of membership.
Beyond the Peace Ambassador Agency, Amafibe is the founder of the Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation, an initiative focused on building bridges for sustainable peace and security. A graduate of Finance and Banking, he holds memberships in multiple professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership, International Peace Commission, 36 Pals Initiative, and the governing councils of Havilla University and Crown Point International College of Health Science and Technology.
Over the years, his work has earned him numerous honours both locally and internationally. These include the International Peace Award for Advocacy and Community Development, the University of Abuja Award for Excellence in Peace and Community Development, the Peace Ambassador Award for Talent Development, and an Award for Excellence from the Ghana-India Trade Advisory Chamber.
Away from titles and awards, Amafibe is widely regarded as a philanthropist with a passion for empowering others—offering support in education, providing business grants, and nurturing young talents to realise their potential.
