‎‎NOCRELA Constitutes National Executive Council, Appoints Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel as Chairman‎‎‎‎‎


‎The Northern Christian Religious Leaders Assembly – Nigeria (NOCRELA) has formally constituted its National Executive Council (NEC), describing the move as a landmark step towards strengthening credible and Christ-centered leadership in the North and across the country.

‎In a statement signed by its Secretary General, Rev. Dr. Simon A.S Dolly, the Assembly said the NEC would serve as its highest administrative and coordinating body, with responsibility for providing strategic direction, fostering unity, promoting peace and justice, and ensuring that the voice of the Church remains a strong force for righteousness in governance, security, and national development.

‎”National Vice Chairman – His Grace, The Most Rev. Marcus Amfani Ibrahim

‎”Secretary General – Rev. Dr. Simon A.S Dolly, KIF, HFCDA

‎”Assistant Secretary General – Evng. Prof. Suleiman S. Matazu

‎”National Adviser on Peace and Security – Rev’d Prof. Abraham Auke Adams

‎”National Adviser on Politics and Governance – Rev. Bitrus Dangiwa

‎”National Adviser on Legal Matters – Envg. Barr. Kwamkur Samuel

‎”National Financial Secretary – Rev. Andemun Rimamnde Musa

‎”National Treasurer – Bishop Agnes Benedicta Iroegbu

‎”National Adviser on National Issues – Archbishop Dr. Yimam M. Orkwar

‎The Assembly noted that the National Executive is strategically positioned to serve as a unifying platform for Christian leaders in Northern Nigeria, engage stakeholders on peace, governance and national security, provide moral and spiritual guidance, and strengthen interfaith dialogue for national cohesion.

‎Speaking on the development, the National Chairman, His Grace, Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel, described the NEC as a “new dawn of united Christian leadership in the North.”

‎“By the grace of God, we shall stand as watchmen for our nation, speaking truth to power, promoting peace, and ensuring that the Church continues to shape society in righteousness and justice,” he said.

‎The Assembly called on Christian leaders, ministers, and stakeholders across Northern Nigeria and beyond to support the new leadership, while assuring that the date for the official inauguration and leadership retreat will be announced in due course.

‎“United in Christ, Anchored in Peace, Advancing the Kingdom,” the statement added.
