The Leaven Leadership Academy has launched plans to train 10,000 emerging leaders across Africa by 2028.
The Lead Facilitator of the Academy, Joshua Triumphant, disclosed this in a press statement.
He said the leaders will be equipped to drive change in their communities, careers, and businesses, while building partnerships with universities, private companies, and organizations to expand its mentorship network and reach a broader audience.
Triumphant said the training is a dynamic movement designed to empower ordinary people with leadership education that transforms people, businesses, and careers.
“From fresh graduates looking for direction to professionals and entrepreneurs ready to level up, the academy offers practical, life-changing lessons that turn ambition into real results.”
He said the initiative was inspired by the urgent need to bridge the gap between academic education and real-world leadership effectiveness and to build a pipeline of job-ready leaders.
“Africa is home to some of the world’s brightest minds, yet many young professionals struggle to translate their knowledge into impact,” he said. “Leaven Leadership Academy was built to change that; to help people fix their lives, businesses, and careers with leadership.”
“What makes the academy unique is its emphasis on practicality and mentorship. Each course is delivered live online by experienced professionals who practice what they preach; students also receive personal mentorship and join an inspiring community where everyone is learning, sharing, and growing together.
“Its flagship Basic Leadership Program runs for 9 to 12 weeks and covers everything that matters most for modern success, from self-leadership, communication, and teamwork to entrepreneurship, digital skills, and financial literacy. The lessons are interactive, designed for immediate application, and help participants see results in both their work and personal lives.
“Our mission is to raise the next generation of leaders through affordable leadership education,” Triumphant said. “Over the next three years, Leaven Leadership Academy aims to train 10,000 emerging leaders across Africa, equipping them to drive change in their communities, careers, and businesses, while building partnerships with universities, private companies, and organizations to expand its mentorship network and reach a broader audience.”
“Leaven Leadership Academy welcomes Africans between the ages of 15 and 55, whether they’re job seekers, rising professionals, or business owners. The goal is simple: to help each person discover their purpose, strengthen their influence, and build a future that truly makes a meaningful difference.
