One of the political pressure groups in Enugu State with special focus on grass roots mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Peter Mbah, has commended the All Progressive Congress (APC) Nattional Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for repositioning the party to greatness, as APC iemerges the number one choice of most elected and aspiring politicians in Nigeria.
‘IFEDICHE’ political family gave the commendation/ vote of confidence to the national Chairman of APC at the official inauguration of its ward and local government executives held over the weekend at Achi in Oji River local government area, Enugu state.
They appraised the fact that the internal crises that bedeviled the national leadership of the party, has been controlled since Prof.Yilwatda took over the mantle of leadership of the party.
In a motion moved by Hon. Ugochukwu Okpala, the Awgu local government Coordinator of Ifediche political family’, and seconded by a stakeholder of the party, Evangelist Dr Walter Madu, the pressure group unainomously endorsed that Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda should remain in his position as a APC National Chairman and be re elected at the next convention of the party for absolute peace to continue to reign in the party, which is a panacea for orderliness that will tantamount to election victory in 2027 and beyond.
The inauguration ceremony which was performed by the Enugu State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda 2027, Mazi Dr. Ezenwa A.A.Onyirimba was witnessed by many stakeholders of the party in the area.
Mazi Ezenwa stressed that the inauguration of Ifediche political family’ which is his braincbild will help in consolidating the good works of the group in all the 41 wards that makes up Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constiuency, popularly known as Greater Awgu.
He assured that the members of the group who are contributing immensely to the growth of APC in Greater Awgu will reap the fruits of their labour in due time.
He expressed joy in the current dynamics of politics in Enugu state which paved way for both Governor Mbah and most PDP stakeholders to jettison PDP and joined APC.
He urged his followers to embrace them and work with them.
His words, “Initially, We were branded the agents of Boko Haram and political enemies of Ndigbo. But it has turned around that our party APC is now accepted in Enugu statement. I thank you all for your perseverance and hardwork, and wish you continue in that direction.
He assured them that APC with Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as Nattional chairman is highly committed to the progress and welfare of all party supporters, especially those of them who nurtured the party from the cradles.
He stressed that the underlying policy of Ifediche political family’ borders on welfarism and progress of members. He tasked them to be agents and caregivers of one another in this direction, assuring that empowerment packages will surely float down from the center and that the party under the watch of Prof. Yilwatda is keenly interested in such packages melting down to the grassroots in the remote areas equally.
