The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and the Federal Fire Service have partnered to train 7,400 Nigerians on fire safety preparedness across the country.
The initiative aims to promote fire safety awareness and equip citizens with practical, life-saving knowledge to reduce fire outbreaks.
The training, to be conducted by Federal Fire Service personnel, will cover essential fire-prevention skills, early warning practices, and basic emergency response procedures.
Participants will become fire safety advocates in their communities, promoting vigilance and responsible safety behavior.
The partnership marks a milestone in Nigeria’s journey towards a more preventive approach to fire management.
