The Renewed Hope Continuity Campaign Group (RHCCG) has formally commenced activities aimed at mobilising nationwide support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
The group, which recently finalised its leadership and organisational structures, has been engaging key stakeholders since its registration and subsequent recognition by the National Chairman of APC on the 18th of August 2025 as a member of the Directorate of Support Groups/Mobilisation of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
As part of its initial engagements, the RHCCG on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr Umar Tanko Yakasai, and members of the TSG leadership at the group’s headquarters in Maitama, Abuja with the aim of building a strategic alignment and synergy ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking during the visit, National Coordinator of RHCCG, Comrade Adekunle Michael Adeniyi, hailed what he described as the huge gains of the reforms initiated by President Tinubu, noting that “sustaining these reforms has become a matter of political responsibility and patriotism”.
He said further that, “the formation of RHCCG was informed by a strong belief in the President’s vision, with a primary focus on sustaining and consolidating the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration”.
Adeniyi assured the TSG leadership that the proposed partnership would be centred “on ideas and resource sharing”, stressing that RHCCG is self funded and would not place any financial or material burden on the TSG.
In his response, Dr Yakasai expressed satisfaction with the emergence of RHCCG and pledged the support of his office and the Tinubu Support Group. He also affirmed TSG’s readiness “to collaborate with RHCCG in the shared objective of securing President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027”.
The meeting, according to the RHCCG, is the first in a series of high-level engagements with political stakeholders, strategic groups and party leaders across the country to “engage APC structures at all levels, as well as friends and supporters of the President who are committed to the continuity of the Renewed Hope Agenda”.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the RHCCG also announced plans to roll out a series of activities in the coming weeks, including the formal inauguration of its zonal, state, local government, ward and unit structures nationwide with emphasis on polling units, which it described as the “critical points for vote mobilisation”.
The group disclosed that it is targeting “no fewer than 250,000 votes for President Tinubu through its structures and coordinated efforts even as it appealed to Nigerians to maintain faith in President Tinubu and support his re-election to safeguard the emerging benefits of the administration’s courageous but necessary reforms”.
