Anambra journalists in Abuja meet to discuss future prospects

The League of Anambra Journalists in Abuja (LAJA) recently held a meeting to discuss important matters affecting the association and its members.

LAJA is the umbrella body of Anambra State indigenous journalists, practicing in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). 

The meeting, attended by members of the association recently in Abuja, focused on supporting the state and federal governments, promoting unity, and consolidating the organization.

Among the Association’s achievements at the meeting were adding more members to the executive for effective performance and delivery, as well as addressing the welfare of members.

The association was honored to have Chief Emeka Mbagha, former FCT President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, who praised LAJA’s innovations and unity, offering advice on how to move forward successfully.

Mbagha, also a former president of Abuja chapter of Anambra State Towns People Association (ASTPA) and a prominent member of APGA, commended the association’s efforts.

Hon. Onyebuchi Chukwu, APGA Chairmanship Candidate in AMAC, was also hosted by LAJA and commended the association for promoting unity, offering useful advice on how to forge ahead.

The association’s meeting provided a platform for members to discuss ways to strengthen the organization and promote unity among members.

LAJA’s efforts aim to promote the interests of its members and contribute to the development of Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole.
