2023 Elections: Tijaniyyya group urges members to shun violence

The Secretary – General of the International Organization of Tijaniyya Brotherhood (IOTB), Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Gwadabe has warned youth members of the organization not to allow themselves be used for violence by politicians during the 2023 general elections.
The secretary general stated this on Sunday in Abuja, during the 12th Annual Conference of IOTB and the Tijaniyya International Muslim Students’ Association of Nigeria.
He advised members who are politicians not to be seen as copying the bandwagon of negative vices and attributes, adding that they should rather use their participation to showcase the prophetic values of integrity, selflessness, justice and love for all.
He also called on members to be committed to their obligations to the organization and to sit-up to their responsibilities towards Society
