The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock exercise conducted on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
In a statement by its spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Board urged candidates to check their results by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number and SIM used during registration.
JAMB disclosed that 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, out of which 152,586 successfully sat for the test. The exercise took place across 989 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
The Board further revealed that over 20 CBT centres that experienced technical difficulties during the exercise have been delisted for not meeting the required operational standards.
JAMB also cautioned candidates to beware of fraudsters, especially on WhatsApp and other social media platforms, who claim they can manipulate or upgrade examination scores, stressing that such claims are false and amount to criminal activity.
The Board warned that any candidate involved in such malpractice risks immediate cancellation of registration, while results may be withheld or withdrawn if violations are detected after the examination.
Meanwhile, JAMB stated that the main UTME is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
