The Aninri People’s Assembly (APA), a socio-political pressure group in Enugu State, has emphasized peace and unity as essential tools for the state’s development, while offering prayers for God to grant Peter Mbah continued wisdom and strength in steering the affairs of the state.
The group made this known in its Easter goodwill message addressed to Governor Mbah and the people of Enugu State. The message was made available to newsmen in Enugu on Saturday.
APA also commended the governor’s developmental strides across the state and reaffirmed its commitment to support his administration towards achieving greater progress.
Part of the goodwill message signed by the leader of Aninri People’s Assembly, High Chief Shadrach E. Ekpete reads, ” The Aninri People’s Assembly felicitates with the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah during this Easter season and prays for greater wisdom, strength, and grace to continue the good work for the peace, progress, and development of our dear state”.
He further pledged to mobilise grassroots support for Governor Mbah’s re-election in 2027.
Chief Ekpete, who is also the Igwe-elect of Amankanu Ohaofia-Oduma autonomous community, extended Easter greetings to the chairman of Aninri Local Government Area, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, as well as the people of Amankanu Ohaofia-Oduma autonomous community.
The APA leader, who holds the traditional title of ‘Onodugo of Ndumeze’ kingdom, called on aggrieved members of his community to embrace forgiveness and reconciliation in the spirit of Easter, urging them to work collectively with his cabinet towards the development of Amankanu Ohaofia-Oduma community.
