The development was disclosed by Abubakar Guda Musa, Deputy Director, Media & Publicity of the Kwankwaso National Network (KNN).

Addressing participants, the National Coordinator spoke extensively on the leadership style of the National Leader, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, explaining that he has consistently leveraged his public offices to improve the lives of Nigerians, particularly the less privileged across the country.

He described Sen. Kwankwaso as a leader of rare quality, citing his service as a former Governor of Kano State and later as Minister of Defence.

Asiwaju Mashood Shittu highlighted Sen. Kwankwaso’s achievements in the education sector during his tenure as Governor of Kano State.

According to him, the administration provided free educational tools such as uniforms, free daily meals for pupils, and free education at all levels from primary to tertiary institutions. He further stated that over 4,000 Nigerian youths were sponsored to study in more than 14 countries abroad, while thousands more were sent to universities within Nigeria, including Igbinedion University, Al-Qalam University, and the American University of Nigeria.

He added that hostel blocks were built and provided free of charge to students in several universities across the country, calling him the Awolowo of today, the Nnamdi Azikiwe of today, and the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa of today, as well as a leader whose ideology aligns with that of Malam Aminu Kano.

Reflecting on Senator Kwankwaso’s period as Minister of Defence, the National Coordinator recalled significant reforms within the military, particularly in salary payment systems. He noted that prior to these reforms, many military personnel experienced serious difficulties accessing their salaries, with some reportedly sleeping under bridges while waiting for payment.

According to him, Senator Kwankwaso introduced digital reforms that allowed military personnel to receive their salaries from any location, thereby boosting their welfare and morale. He also stated that security operations improved during that period.

The Southwest Zonal Coordinator, Hon. Daniel Solomon, also addressed the gathering, speaking on the theme of mass participation as the beauty of democracy in Nigeria. He explained the concept of democracy and stressed the need for active citizen participation in the democratic process. He described Senator Kwankwaso as a pathfinder and a leader whose vision, he said, all progressive Nigerians should learn from and support.

A Christian cleric, a bishop who also spoke at the parley, commended Senator Kwankwaso, noting that he is following in the footsteps of Nigeria’s past leaders who fought for democracy and good governance in the country.

In addition, the six state coordinators of the Kwankwaso National Network in the Southwest zone took turns to address the meeting, declaring their total commitment to the Kwankwaso national movement. They pledged to continue promoting the ideology of the National Leader and to strengthen the movement across the zone.

The parley ended peacefully with brief entertainment by participants, marking a successful conclusion to the event.
