The management of Royal Pacific Group Limited, trading as Fraser Suites Abuja, has announced the appointment of Mr. Bayu Fidiyanto as its new Executive Chef.

According to him, the accomplished Indonesian-born chef brings a robust global culinary background spanning premier international hospitality brands to the nation’s capital. Chef Bayu’s career reflects a rigorous ascent through major hotel kitchen operations in Indonesia, mastering essential culinary sections including butchery, garde manger, banqueting, and hot kitchen management.
Throughout his career, Chef Bayu has held leadership positions with world-renowned hospitality groups, including Hilton, Atlantis, Waldorf Astoria, Fairmont, InterContinental, Jumeirah, Accor, and Marriott. His notable career highlights include serving as Head Chef of Zengo Restaurant at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai , the acclaimed Pan-Asian concept by celebrity chef Richard Sandoval as well as leading award-winning kitchens such as LAO at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah and Saffron at Atlantis The Palm.
He also previously served as Executive Sous Chef at DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah.
In his new role at Fraser Suites Abuja, Audu confirmed that Chef Bayu will spearhead the property’s overall culinary vision and operations.
His responsibilities encompass menu development, kitchen management, food safety, cost control, and the training and capacity-building of the culinary team across all dining outlets, banquets, and special events.
While skilled in crafting a diverse array of global cuisines tailored to an international clientele, Asian cuisine remains Chef Bayu’s signature specialty.
