Troops of 32 Brigade, in collaboration with local vigilantes, have arrested two suspected terrorists’ informants during an offensive operation in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Military sources said the operation was conducted at about 9:30 a.m. on May 25 in forested areas around Itagbolu, Iju, Igbogun Iju and Iju Alagbun communities.
According to the sources, the operation formed part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks and enhance security within the area.
The sources disclosed that two suspected informants linked to terrorist activities were apprehended during the operation.
They added that the suspects had been handed over to the Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun, for further investigation and necessary action.
