Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has nominated the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Mr. Jerry Adams, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election.
The governor announced the decision, describing it as a reflection of his administration’s commitment to inclusion, justice, fairness and equitable representation across Kaduna State.
Uba Sani said Adams has distinguished himself as an accomplished public servant, institution builder and respected tax administrator whose leadership has strengthened the state’s revenue base.
According to the governor, the KADIRS chairman’s track record of competence and integrity makes him well-suited to support the administration’s development agenda.
He added that the nomination was driven by merit, character and a shared vision for sustainable growth and good governance.
Governor Sani also said the choice underscores his determination to build a united, peaceful and prosperous Kaduna State where every citizen has a genuine sense of belonging.
Jerry Adams currently serves as Executive Chairman of KADIRS and is expected to join Governor Uba Sani on the ticket for the 2027 Kaduna State governorship election.
