Akpabio hails Sultan Abubakar’s 70 years of service, peace and nation-building

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has felicitates the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, describing him as a pillar of peace and national cohesion.

The congratulatory message, released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, praised the Sultan’s decades of leadership in both the spiritual and traditional spheres.

Akpabio said the Sultan’s life exemplifies service, faith and an unwavering dedication to the progress and unity of Nigeria.

“Today, we celebrate not merely the years you have attained, but the remarkable impact of your life and leadership,” the Senate President stated.

He noted that the Sultan’s reign has been marked by consistent efforts to promote tolerance, dialogue and understanding among Nigerians of different faiths and ethnicities.

According to Akpabio, the Sultan’s commitment to good governance and the welfare of citizens has earned him respect across the country and beyond.

The Senate President stressed that Nigeria needs more voices like the Sultan’s voices of wisdom, moderation and reconciliation, especially in challenging times.

He prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to preserve the Sultan, strengthen him and bless him with many more years of fulfillment and service.

“May Allah continue to bless and preserve you in His service and in the service of humanity and our nation. Happy 70th Birthday, Your Eminence,” Akpabio added.
