From breathtaking hairstyles and striking fashion statements to celebrity appearances and an electrifying musical performance, Lush Hair emerged as one of the highlights of Lagos Fashion Week 2026, delivering a runway experience that celebrated beauty, individuality and confidence.
The brand showcased a compelling blend of beauty, fashion and entertainment, using the prestigious platform to promote inclusivity, celebrate diversity and highlight the importance of self-confidence.
As the Official Hair Sponsor of Lagos Fashion Week 2026, Lush Hair brought its “Be Beautiful, Be Confident” philosophy to life through creative hairstyling and fashion presentations that championed individuality and self-expression.
The Marketing Manager, Vivian Obiano, said the brand’s participation reflected its commitment to celebrating individuality and redefining beauty through confidence and self-expression.
According to her, the fashion platform provided an opportunity to connect with consumers beyond its products by demonstrating how people could express their personalities through hair, fashion and personal style. The showcase brought together brand ambassadors, celebrities, entertainers and models in a colourful display of creativity and personal style.
At the centre of the presentation were the brand’s three product categories, each conveying a distinct message. Lush Hair Extensions, under the theme “Be Confident,” featured Ambassadors Rachael Okonkwo and Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, who demonstrated the versatility of the brand’s extensions.
Hilda Baci represented the Hair Care category with the message, “Live the Soft Life,” drawing attention to the importance of healthy hair as the foundation of beautiful styling.
Speaking on the Hair Care category, Senior Brand Manager, Damilola Agboola, said Lush Hair remained committed to helping consumers achieve beautiful hairstyles. She explained that the “Live the Soft Life” message was designed to encourage consumers to prioritise hair care while enjoying the beauty and versatility associated with well-maintained hair.
The brand also offered a preview of its forthcoming Lush Hair Mousse and oil sheen products, which will soon be available through its e-commerce platform, open markets and supermarkets.
Folasade Adeleke represented LushNova, the brand’s premium extensions range, under the theme “You’re That Girl.” Her appearance added glamour and sophistication to the runway presentation, highlighting the collection’s appeal to women who confidently embrace their individuality.
Beyond its product displays and glamorous hairstyles, the showcase made a deliberate statement on inclusivity by featuring models with diverse backgrounds and physical appearances. They included a plus-size model, a model with albinism, another with tribal marks, twins and twin child models.
Through the diverse representation, Lush Hair challenged conventional beauty standards and reinforced its message that confidence should not be restricted by age, body size or physical appearance.
The runway also attracted popular personalities, including current Big Brother Naija winner, Temi Nkem, Godessa, Barry and Chimso Chuka. Their participation, alongside male personalities, further reinforced the brand’s position that beauty and self-expression cut across gender and individual differences.
Adding another creative dimension to the presentation, Lush Hair collaborated with fashion designer Desire Iyama, who designed the outfits worn by the models. The partnership brought fashion and hairstyling together in coordinated runway looks that reflected the creative vision behind the showcase.
The excitement reached its peak when Teni the Entertainer delivered a lively musical performance before making a surprise appearance on the runway as a model wearing Lush Hair extensions, providing an entertaining finale to the presentation.
Beyond its runway showcase, Lush Hair contributed to the wider fashion event by providing hairstyling services for models presenting collections by participating designers, including selected offsite shows.
The hairstyles were created by professional hairstylists and graduates of the Lush Hair Professional School, whose participation demonstrated their technical expertise, creativity and professional training.
