OAGF deducts N57.3m from JAMB account

The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF) has deducted N57,356,765 from the account of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

According to a bulletin issued by the exam body, the money was auto-deducted by the OAGF for Operating Surplus remittance to Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF).

Meanwhile, JAMB said it recorded a total of N234,217,833 as financial inflow between September 14 to 20 September, 2024 while the outflow in the same period was put at N138,016,243.

Giving a breakdown of the inflow, JAMB said it received N226,835,661 from E-facilities/Sales, N2, 591,400 from PRC Service Charge and N4,790,772 was secured from consultancy services.

On the outflow, the examination body spent N52,208, 558 on various staff claims, N50,000,000 for Federal Polytechnic Kaduna on the award won by the institution, N7,842,900 for payment of Computer Based Test Centres, among other expenditure.
