Newly reelected president general of Umualaoma Development Union (UDU), Umualaoma Autonomous Community in Ideato North LGA of Imo State, Hon Chikezie Oguejioffor has promised the Community that his second term in office would witness accelerated development of the community.
He made the plegde after the inauguration of his executive council by the community’s Traditional Ruler, HRH Eze Anthony N. Nwachukwu (Oree-Igbo 2) at the King’s palace on January 5, 2025.
Eze Nwachukwu congratulated the newly elected Executive Council members (exco) on their victory.
He urged them to work as a team to drive progress and development of the community.
In his speech, the re-elected president general, Hon Oguejioffor thanked Eze Nwachukwu for his support and fatherly advice towards the growth of the community.
The PG also expressed his deep gratitude to the electoral committee that conducted a credible, free and fair elections and equally commended sons and daughters of Umualaoma who have been the pillars of the community’s developmental achievements so far.
Furthermore, he re-assured the community of their readiness, commitments and dedications to discharge their duties for the growth of the Town adding that his regime would prioritize quality leadership, attracting projects, security, education, and warfare of citizens of the community.
In his reaction, a former Chairman of Ideato North LGA and indigene of Umualaoma, Hon Uche Onwuka congratulated Oguejiofor and his team reminding them that with election and inauguration completed, it was time to bring everyone together as a community and get to work.
The new Inaugurated execo includes; Hon Chikezie Oguejioffor – President General, Chief ThankGod Ugochukwu – Vice President General, Hon. Uche Ugochukwu – Secretary General.
Others are: Comrade Ozioma Offor- Assistant Secretary General, Mr Peter Agughasi-Financial Secretary, Mr Uche Ihejiaku -Treasurer, Prince Oliver Nwachukwu – Public Relation officer, Mr Obinna Okafor- Provost 1 and Mr Solomon Mbachu- Provost 2.
