The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Mrs. Lami Zhiwa is dead.
Zhiwa”s demise was announced in a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant on media and public affairs to AMAC chairman, Kingsley Madaki, late Wednesday.
The statement reads in part,” In total submission to the will of God, we regret to announce the passing of the PDP women leader in AMA.
“The Executive Chairman of AMAC, Christopher Maikalangu deeply mourns the death of Mrs Zhiwa, a perfect gentle woman, a unifier, urbane public servant, and a woman of virtue.
“We ask for the understanding of everyone at this mournful period as the government and family mourn the quintessential public servant.
“We pray that Almighty God accept her return, eases her accounts, admits her in paradise, and upholds her family upon goodness.” the statement said.
