A group, The Mayorkings Agency Group, has disclosed that plans are underway to celebrate 100 African personalities of the year 2025 in South Africa.
A statement by the organiser Dr Temisan Louis, said the initiative is to amplify the outstanding contributions of the awardees in the development of the continent.
The event is slated to hold in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday, June 28, 2025, with a promise to be a spectacular gathering of Africa’s crème de la crème.
Some of the awardees listed include: Mr. David Olurin, CEO Cardinal Torch Company Limited; Dr. Mandy Sigauke, founder & CEO, Mansic Holdings; Nicolatte Matuku, co-founder, Walking The African Journey Development Agency; Dr. Anita Joseph Olagunju, actor, singer, minister, counselor; and Amb. Dr. Laura Okoro, CEO, Resilience Group.
Others are: Naftal Nghishekwa, founder, TST Marketing & Tailored Solutions; Alasan Ceesay, founder & CEO, Rahma Gambia Ltd; Adaora Gloria Chukwuma, founder, Avaldora Help Foundation; Randall David Sarpong, CEO, Jilrandall Companies; and Idiagbonya Samuel, producer/director.
President/Founder of Mayorkings Agency Group, Dr Temisan Louis, said awardees/trailblazers have made significant contributions to various fields, inspiring generations and shaping the African continent’s narrative.
Louis explained that the theme of the event: “The Africa We Want, Collaboration Over Competition For A Sustainable Societal Advancement”, would honour the contributions of these iconic personalities, highlighting their impact on Africa’s growth and development.
He continued, “Africa, a continent steeped in rich cultural heritage and diversity, is home to some of the world’s most remarkable individuals.
“These trailblazers have made significant contributions to various fields, inspiring generations and shaping the continent’s narrative”.
