Akpabio praises Eno for peaceful APC congresses

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has given kudos to Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno for successfully conducting a peaceful state congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Uyo. Akpabio, who attended the event at the Uyo Township Stadium, commended the governor for the calm atmosphere that characterized the party’s gathering.

According to Akpabio, previous such events were often marred by disputes and factionalization, making this congress a notable exception. He attributed the success to Governor Eno’s inclusive approach to governance and broad consultations.

The Senate President noted that the congress resulted in the emergence of a new executive committee for the party in the state, achieved through consensus as stipulated by the party’s constitution. He praised Pastor Eno for his leadership in achieving this milestone.
