The Team Nwawelugo Movement has congratulated Gini Chukwuma Williams on his victory in the election for the Idemili Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the African Democratic Congress.
In a statement signed by its Chairman and Founder, Ikechukwu Cornelius Anonye on Saturday, the group described the victory as well-deserved and a reflection of the confidence reposed in Williams by the people of the constituency.
According to the statement, the overwhelming support received during the election demonstrated the collective desire of the people for purposeful leadership, accountability, and people-oriented governance.
The movement stated that Williams had pledged to serve as a loyal, trustworthy, and dedicated representative committed to advancing the interests and welfare of the people of Idemili Federal Constituency.
It added that the lawmaker-elect intends to use the mandate to promote unity, inclusive representation, youth and women empowerment, infrastructural development, and improved opportunities for residents of the constituency.
The Team Nwawelugo Movement also commended party faithful, supporters, stakeholders, and voters for their peaceful conduct and commitment to democracy throughout the electoral process.
“This victory belongs to the people of Idemili and stands as a renewed hope for quality representation and responsive leadership,” the statement noted.
The group called on residents of the constituency, irrespective of political affiliation, to support Williams in the collective effort to build a stronger and more progressive Idemili Federal Constituency.
It further prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for the lawmaker-elect as he begins his journey of service to the people.
