The high authority of the Nigeria Police Force has ordered an urgent investigation into the source(s) of wealth of a 39-years-old multi-billionaire, Emeka Okonkwo.
It has also ordered the withdrawal of his police escorts with immediate effect.
The withdrawal of the police escorts, according to sources, is not unconnected with the billionaire’s alleged use of the police men working with him as domestic staff.
The source further revealed that the police high command is shock at the number of the escorts attached to the young billionaire, wondering what is the rationale behind it.
While confirming the withdrawal of the escorts, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PRO), Bala Elkana, said: “It is true that his escorts have been withdrawn and an investigation ongoing. I do not have much information on it.”
Findings revealed that the 39-years-old billionaire was born in Ajegunle, Lagos, Nigeria.
His generosity and flamboyant life style, sources said, made people to give him the name E-money or Arab money.
