The Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management has inducted Senator Magnus Ngei Abe as Fellow, Certified Business Administrator and Knowledge Manager (FBAKM), of the Institute.
Chairman of the Institute in the South-south, Dr. Jude Nwoka stated that Senator Abe was honoured for his contributions to human capital development and social-economic growth.
Speaking at the ceremony, which took place after the 2nd Annual International Conference of Business Administration and Knowledge Management in Port Harcourt, Nwoka described Abe as one of the very knowledgeable and business minded politician in Rivers State with vast experience in governance.
Nwoka, who is also the acting Director, School of Business Studies at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, maintained that Abe is a humble political leader.
He said the former senator has traversed the executive arm of government as well as the legislature and therefore has the requisite qualifications to serve Rivers people at any level.
Nwoka said: “Having served as member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Commissioner, Secretary to State Government (SSG) and Senator, you have served well”.
Responding on the occasion, Senator Abe thanked the Board of Governors, Governing Council, Management and Organizing Committees of the Institution for the honour and promised to abide by the rules and regulations of the organization.
The Senator said: “I want to thank you all for the honour and promise that as I add your acronym to my name, I will always cherish this opportunity”.
The conference had as its theme: “Professional Business Administration and Knowledge Management: Panacea for Economic and Institutional Health and Sustainability“.
