Reactions have trailed the victory of governor Samuel Ortom at the Supreme Court Tuesday.
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Benue State , John Ngbede told the AUTHORITY in a telephone interview that the victory was dedicated to God and the people of Benue state.
He said the judgement was an affirmation of the mandate given to the party at the polls as earlier confirmed by the tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Hon. Ngbede called on members of the opposition to accept the verdict of the Supreme Court in good faith and join hands with governor, Samuel Ortom for the overall development of the state.
Hon. Richard Gbande, member representing Katsina- Ala/Ukum and Logo Federal Constituency expressed joy that the Apex Court delivered the judgement in tandem with the wishes of Benue people.
While congratulating the governor over his victory, Gbande who spoke to this medium urged him to continue in the spirit so as to leave a lasting legacy for the people of Benue state.
He urged members of the APC to come on board with a view to contributing towards taking the state to greater heights.
