Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State is scheduled to participate in the US – Benue Trade Forum bid to commence in the United States of America on Monday, February 10, 2020.
The event which has the theme ‘Think Global, Grow Local’ is aimed at promoting economic cooperation between institutions and organizations in the United States and Benue.
A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Terver Akase, and made available to The AUTHORITY in Makurdi, Friday informed that the forum is also expected to provide opportunities in agro based businesses, infrastructure development and healthcare.
Other areas of focus according to the statement will include technology and collaboration with development partners.
The statement revealed further that The US – Benue Trade Forum will take place in Atlanta, California and Los Angeles.
It said Ortom who departed Benue State Friday , will also take part in an event organized by the United States Institute of Peace, USIP, in Washington DC.
It added that before returning to Nigeria, the Governor will also attend the Paris Annual International Agricultural Show in France.
